Challenge
The company had successfully monetized their three flagship websites using an in-house ecommerce system. However, they lacked a mobile presence and had no internal experience in mobile app development. They sought to create mobile apps for both Android and iOS that would:
- Support all three of their e-commerce brands
- Be maintainable by their existing JavaScript development team
- Reuse existing infrastructure and content managed via their ecommerce system
- Allow for a scalable and flexible architecture across brands
Solution

We developed a React Native-based mobile platform with support for iOS and Android. The app was built with modularity in mind, enabling:
- Brand-specific customization by simply changing endpoints and configuration files
- Custom native modules for advanced features such as AR and camera integration
- A vehicle builder experience that allows users to customize vehicles by selecting make, model, lift kits, wheels, and tires
- Social features, push notifications, and rich media content to enhance engagement
Results

The company now has a future-ready mobile platform that will continue to drive strategic growth and support innovation across every brand:
- More than 100K downloads of the app on Google Play
- 2.8K+ ratings with a 4.7/5 average on Apple’s App Store
- Created three scalable mobile sales channels
- Achieved 3–4x higher conversion rates than mobile websites (internal estimate)
- App launched in 2017 and is still active in 2025, demonstrating long-term success
- Their internal team continues to maintain and enhance the apps independently
