We partner with global product teams to build high-performance, scalable systems that support real business workflows. As we expand into new feature areas and modernize existing platforms, we need a Manual UAT Tester who can validate end-to-end user journeys, ensure business requirements are met, and help us deliver a seamless experience to our clients and their customers.
You’ll join a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product owners working in an Agile environment. This role is fully remote.
What You’ll Do
- Own User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features, enhancements, and end-to-end workflows
- Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, and stakeholders to understand business processes
- Create clear, comprehensive test cases and acceptance scenarios
- Execute manual tests across UI, workflow logic, integrations, and user-facing processes
- Validate that the product meets business requirements and real-world use cases
- Identify gaps, edge cases, inconsistencies, and missed requirements early
- Document defects in a structured, actionable way using Jira
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and provide test coverage updates
- Support go-live readiness by ensuring all UAT criteria are met
- Provide user-focused feedback to improve the product experience
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a Manual QA or UAT Tester
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business workflows
- Experience translating business requirements into test cases
- Hands-on testing experience across web applications and integrated systems
- Familiarity with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, Qase, etc.)
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong documentation skills and an eye for detail
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, Agile environment
- Proactive thinker who can anticipate risks and validate edge cases
- Experience logging and tracking defects using Jira or similar tools
Bonus Points
- Experience testing complex, multi-system workflows
- Background in finance, banking, insurance, healthcare, or enterprise environments
- Ability to support simple API validation (Postman)
- Experience participating in UAT planning and go-live coordination
- Exposure to BDD, acceptance criteria writing, or user story refinement
Location
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be able to work full UK business hours (GMT/BST) to ensure effective collaboration with our client and team. Preference will be given to candidates based in the UK, Europe, or regions within GMT to GMT+3 time zones.
