Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in Java (technical assessment required)
- Strong experience with Clojure and/or Grails (Groovy)
- Deep understanding of the JVM ecosystem
- Experience building RESTful and/or event-driven systems
- Experience working with Kafka or similar messaging/event streaming platforms
- Experience designing scalable, distributed systems
- Familiarity with functional programming principles (immutability, pure functions, concurrency models)
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred: ECS/EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- English fluency, verbal and written
Location
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in regions that align with the Pacific, Central or Eastern U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with client and team schedules.
