Our global teams bring curiosity, commitment, and technical excellence to every project. We value transparency, autonomy, and impact—empowering every team member to do their best work.
We're seeking experienced Data Engineers with deep Alteryx expertise to join a strategic enterprise data separation initiative. This role is a hands-on opportunity to lead Alteryx workflow assessment, migration, and optimization efforts, while supporting broader integration work across SAP environments within a dedicated SWAT team.
Future Opportunity Role – Talent Pipeline
This is a future opportunity role. We continuously meet talented engineers to support upcoming client projects. While there may not be an immediate opening, qualified candidates may be considered for future engagements.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct a full inventory assessment of the existing Alteryx workflow environment, classifying workflows as hot (business-critical, active) or cold (low-priority, dormant).
- Define and execute a prioritized migration plan for hot workflows to the new Alteryx server, ensuring continuity of business-critical processes.
- Optimize and refactor migrated Alteryx workflows for performance, reliability, and maintainability in the new environment.
- Advise on cloud migration risk for Alteryx workloads, evaluating feasibility, dependencies, and potential impact to support vendor negotiation decisions.
- Implement automated data quality checks and monitoring within Alteryx workflows to ensure pipeline integrity post-migration.
- Document workflow inventory, migration steps, and post-migration validation results to support architecture playbooks and standards.
- Collaborate with the Data Architect and client platform SMEs to align Alteryx migration execution with the broader separation strategy.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft, Seeburger (FTP), and Informatica, including separation design, SAP (ECC & Cloud) data movement, platform assessments, and workflow migration advisory
- Contribute to weekly status reporting by tracking Alteryx migration progress, flagging risks, and communicating blockers to stakeholders.
- Validate that migrated workflows meet business, functional, and compliance requirements through structured testing and sign-off.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3–5+ years in data engineering with a strong focus on Alteryx workflow development, migration, and optimization in enterprise environments.
- Deep hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer and Server; ability to assess, classify, migrate, and optimize complex workflow inventories at scale.
- Familiarity with Alteryx cloud offerings and the ability to evaluate migration risk, dependencies, and cost-benefit trade-offs to inform vendor negotiations.
- Experience implementing automated monitoring and quality checks within Alteryx pipelines to ensure data integrity across environments.
- Working knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP Cloud data structures, particularly as they relate to Alteryx-managed data flows and movement patterns.
- Able to produce clear workflow inventories, migration plans, and validation reports that support architecture standards and client deliverables.
- Comfortable operating within a SWAT team model alongside architects, platform SMEs, and client stakeholders to deliver under tight timelines.
- Thrives in fast-moving engagements where the Alteryx migration scope may shift based on vendor negotiations or evolving client priorities.
