For this role, we are looking for a Technical Writer who can translate complex technical and operational concepts into clear, accessible documentation. This role is especially valuable for professionals who have experience documenting processes, systems, or platforms within e-commerce environments, particularly in fashion, apparel, or retail organizations where product catalogs, customer data, and operational workflows are central to business success.
You will collaborate with engineers, product teams, and operational stakeholders to document systems, processes, and best practices that support scalable and secure digital platforms.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in technical writing, documentation, or translating technical and functional information into clear documentation
- Experience producing documentation for software platforms, internal systems, or operational processes
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, digital retail operations, or online merchandising environments, preferably within apparel or consumer retail companies
- Ability to document customer data workflows, internal procedures, and system integrations
- Strong written and verbal English fluency
- Professional, collaborative, and empathetic communicator
- Detail-oriented and able to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
Nice to Have
- Experience documenting workflows for e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce, or similar ecosystems
- Previous work within fashion retail, apparel companies, or consumer e-commerce brands
- Exposure to data privacy, compliance, or secure handling of customer data
- Familiarity with Agile or modern product development environments
Location
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in regions that align with UK working hours.
