Upcoming Project – Talent Pipeline

We are actively building a pipeline of experienced engineers for upcoming client projects. While some opportunities may begin soon, start dates are dependent on project timing.

What We’re Working On

We partner with global product teams to build reliable, scalable digital platforms used by thousands of customers every day. As our platforms grow in complexity, ensuring high product quality across real-world workflows becomes critical.

We’re looking for a QA Manager with a strong background in manual testing who understands how to validate complex systems from a user and business perspective. While this role is primarily focused on manual testing leadership, the ideal candidate will also have enough exposure to automation frameworks and tooling to identify opportunities where automation can improve efficiency and test coverage.

You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define testing strategies, guide QA processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

This is a fully remote role working UK business hours.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and guide QA efforts across projects with a strong focus on manual and exploratory testing
  • Define and implement QA strategies that ensure high product quality and reliable releases
  • Work closely with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure testability
  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and end-to-end workflow validations
  • Validate complex business processes, integrations, and user journeys
  • Identify risks, edge cases, and gaps early in the development lifecycle
  • Manage and mentor QA engineers while promoting strong testing practices
  • Review test coverage and determine where automation could provide value
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support automation initiatives when appropriate
  • Track defects, analyze root causes, and drive improvements to reduce recurring issues
  • Provide clear reporting and insights into product quality, release readiness, and testing progress
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery practices

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • 2+ years of experience in a QA lead or QA management role
  • Strong hands-on experience in manual testing, exploratory testing, and UAT validation
  • Experience testing web applications and integrated systems
  • Ability to translate business requirements into structured test cases and scenarios
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, Qase, or similar
  • Experience logging and managing defects in Jira or similar tools
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage QA priorities, timelines, and deliverables across multiple initiatives
  • Experience working in remote or distributed teams

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar
  • Understanding of when automation provides value vs when manual testing is more effective
  • Experience validating API interactions using tools like Postman
  • Experience testing complex multi-system workflows or enterprise applications

Location

  • This is a fully remote position working UK business hours (GMT/BST).
  • To ensure effective collaboration with our client and team, we are currently only considering candidates located in: United Kingdom, Europe and Africa
