We are looking for an Amplitude Expert to join our growing team and help us optimize how we collect, analyze, and present data through dynamic dashboards.
Role Overview
As an Amplitude Expert, you will be pivotal in building, managing, and enhancing dashboards and reports that deliver critical insights to stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for configuring event tracking, defining key metrics, and ensuring data accuracy. Your expertise will directly impact product decision-making, marketing strategies, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development: Create and maintain detailed, interactive dashboards in Amplitude, delivering actionable insights to internal teams.
- Event Tracking & Data Management: Define and implement custom event tracking plans to measure user behavior effectively.
- Data Visualization: Design and optimize visualizations to highlight trends, patterns, and KPIs that inform strategic decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and data teams to translate business requirements into meaningful Amplitude reports.
- Data Accuracy & Quality: Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular validation and troubleshooting.
- Optimization & Automation: Enhance dashboard efficiency by streamlining reporting processes and automating repetitive tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Amplitude: Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Amplitude Analytics, including creating complex dashboards and reports.
- Strong Dashboarding Skills: Proficiency in building custom dashboards with advanced filtering, segmentation, and cohort analysis.
- Event Tracking & Instrumentation: Experience with event tracking schemas, instrumentation plans, and defining key events to monitor product usage.
- Data Analysis: Ability to interpret and analyze large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
- SQL proficiency: Basic knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data (preferred but not required).
- Visualization & Reporting: Familiarity with data visualization best practices and creating user-friendly dashboards.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and present insights clearly.
