About the Role:
As the Go-to-Market Strategy/Operations Leader, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy. Drawing from your expertise as a former consultant or RevOps professional, you will work closely with technical teams to scope solutions, extract key insights, and craft sales materials that showcase our capabilities in areas like Data Engineering. Your ability to understand both business and technical perspectives will be critical to this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Material Development: Interview project teams to extract valuable insights and success stories. Translate complex technical solutions, such as Data Engineering projects, into compelling sales presentations, case studies, and solution playbooks.
- Scope and Strategy: Attend meetings to understand project objectives and the scope of future client needs. Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for new marketing and GTM initiatives based on project learnings.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, and technical teams to align messaging and ensure a seamless GTM strategy. Act as a liaison between technical experts and business development teams to ensure alignment and mutual understanding.
- Business Development Support: Leverage your business acumen to create scalable frameworks for GTM strategies across solutions. Provide insights to leadership on emerging market trends and competitive positioning.
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize RevOps processes to improve communication and execution across teams. Develop tools and systems that streamline the creation of client-ready sales materials.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in GTM strategy, operations, consulting, or RevOps roles.
- Proven experience creating sales materials for technical solutions, preferably in areas like Data Engineering or IT consulting.
- Strong business skills with the ability to scope projects and identify market opportunities.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of transforming technical details into client-friendly narratives.
- Ability to listen actively in meetings, distil key points and translate them into actionable deliverables.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, marketing automation platforms, and presentation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
