Embedded Systems Engineer

We’re on the lookout for a skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the intersection of hardware and software and has real-world experience integrating camera systems and access control devices.

What You’ll Be Working On:

Integrating PTZ camera systems (e.g., Hikvision, Axis, Dahua) using ONVIF and REST APIs Working with gate and barrier systems from vendors like HID, Allegion, and BEA sensors Collaborating closely with product and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless control system integration Leveraging JavaScript (and related tooling) in camera integrations and interface development Ensuring smooth communication between devices and applications in a secure, scalable environment

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience integrating PTZ cameras using industry-standard APIs (ONVIF/REST) Solid understanding of gate/barrier access systems and sensor hardware Working knowledge of JavaScript and how it supports embedded/web hybrid systems Comfort with troubleshooting and debugging in hardware-software environments You’re a systems thinker who understands the big picture, not just the code

Salary

Salary range: $48k - $84k annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.

Position Details

This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
