Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing and building production-grade platforms.
- Solid experience with Python, and scripting in Python or Bash.
- Experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
- Experience with IaC, specifically Terraform
- Familiar with CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab) and test-driven development.
- Proficient with Git and general DevOps best practices.
- Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to take ownership across a wide scope of platform responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Docker and container platforms (e.g., ECS).
- Experience with Python Django for backend development.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tooling eg Grafana/Kibana/Cloudwatch
- Knowledge of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Configuration management tools, ideally Puppet
- Governance and security administration, eg IAM, vault key management
- Understanding of Lakehouse architectures and data engineering principles.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Europe or regions with compatible time zones.

Salary
Salary range: $55k - $100k annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.

Position Details
