Senior Data Engineer – Hubspot to AWS Pipelines

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to extract data from Hubspot, process it in AWS, and deliver it to streaming partners.
• Work with large, complex datasets using Python and raw SQL.
• Build scalable, efficient data flows for both batch and streaming pipelines (e.g., Kafka, SQS).
• Collaborate with analysts, product managers, and engineering teams to ensure data availability and accessibility.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across systems and services.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for pipeline health and performance.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Proven experience integrating and extracting data from Hubspot.
• Strong skills in Python for data processing and automation.
• Proficient in SQL, especially for querying and transforming large datasets.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue, RDS, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
• Experience building both batch and stream data processing pipelines.
• Familiarity with messaging and streaming technologies (Kafka, SQS).
• Understanding of data modeling, normalization, and performance optimization.
• Comfortable working in agile, collaborative, and fully remote environments.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
