The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Segment Data Engineer to support our Marketing team’s initiative to improve user journey data—how it’s captured, structured, and reported across Segment and Snowflake. This is a high-impact role where expertise in Twilio Segment is essential.
What You’ll Do
- Work with existing product event data in Twilio Segment, focusing on how it is captured, stored, and structured.
- Design and implement processes to transform raw event data into organized, stakeholder-ready tables.
- Leverage DBT for data modeling and transformation.
- Utilize Snowflake as the primary data warehouse (Databricks or BigQuery experience also considered).
- Partner with Marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure the data supports meaningful analysis across the customer journey.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven, hands-on experience with Twilio Segment (non-negotiable).
- Experience with Snowflake is highly preferred; Databricks or BigQuery experience also valuable.
- Strong skills in data modeling, transformation, and structuring event-based data.
- Proficiency with DBT for data pipeline and transformation workflows.
- Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to ensure data outputs drive actionable insights.

Salary
Salary range: $60k - $140k annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.

Position Details
This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
