We're seeking a Data Engineer to join our remote team and help us solve meaningful problems with clean, scalable data solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and workflows for batch and streaming use cases.
- Write advanced SQL queries and optimize database performance for large-scale datasets.
- Work with orchestration tools such as Airflow, FiveTran, DBT, Pub/Sub, or similar to ensure reliable data movement.
- Develop and maintain scalable data solutions using Python, Go, Java, or other programming languages.
- Architect and manage Postgres, BigQuery, and other DBMS solutions to ensure data quality, availability, and performance.
- Build and manage integrations with APIs and streaming data platforms.
- Design and optimize data warehouse models to support reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, ensure data integrity, and deliver actionable insights.
- Work with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) to deploy, monitor, and scale data solutions.
- Implement event-tracking strategies using tools such as Firebase, GA4, or similar.
What We’re Looking For
- Expert-level SQL knowledge, including performance tuning and optimization.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT, FiveTran, Pub/Sub, or equivalent).
- Deep knowledge of database management systems (Postgres, BigQuery preferred).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing design principles and models.
- Proven experience in API and streaming data integration.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Familiarity with event data collection tools (Firebase, GA4, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Salary
Salary range: $60k - $140k annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.

Position Details
This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
