About the Role
We partner with global enterprises to design and build large-scale data platforms that power the products and operations at the center of their business.
The platform is being built to deliver high-value clinical and care management use cases, including member orchestration, forecasting of membership, utilization, and cost, anomaly detection, and clinical decision support. Each one depends on the same things: a clear business outcome, the right data owners, confirmed access, and success metrics that the business agrees on before the build starts.
You will own that business side for Healthcare / Clinical Operations . You will sit between care management leaders and the engineering team, turn business needs into well-defined data products and use cases, map who owns which data and functions, and make sure what gets built is what the business will actually use.
What You'll Do
- Lead business discovery with Healthcare / Clinical Operations stakeholders to define objectives, workflows, and decision points for each use case.
- Assess candidate use cases for fit and value, and help recommend which ones move into build.
- Build the data and function owner map for Healthcare / Clinical Operations t domains, and drive access requests on the critical path.
- Translate business requirements into data product definitions, including owners, consumers, freshness, SLAs, and sensitivity classification.
- Define success criteria and KPIs for each use case, and align business and technical teams on how they will be measured.
- Work with the technical lead and engineers to confirm that designs and outputs meet business needs, and resolve gaps early.
- Support user acceptance testing and use case validation with business stakeholders.
- Plan the transition of delivered use cases to the client's operational teams, including adoption and change management.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years in business architecture, business analysis, or product roles, including data or analytics programs.
- Domain experience in healthcare payer operations, ideally Healthcare / Clinical Operations , utilization management, or member engagement.
- Strong working knowledge of modern data platforms, with enough Databricks or lakehouse literacy to discuss data products, governance, and access with engineers.
- Experience defining KPIs, success metrics, and business cases for data or AI initiatives.
- Experience mapping data ownership and navigating access and approval processes in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and the handling of PHI in data programs.
- A confident facilitator who can lead workshops with senior business stakeholders and drive decisions across teams.
- Bonus if you have past experience with care management
- Clear written communication, including requirements, owner maps, and executive-ready summaries.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data mesh or data product operating models.
- Experience with AI/ML use cases in healthcare, such as forecasting, anomaly detection, or clinical decision support.
- Familiarity with Unity Catalog or data marketplace concepts.
- Hands-on SQL and Python for validating data and metrics.

Our Process
A screening call, a technical interview, and a HackerRank assessment. The technical interview is a conversation rather than a whiteboard exam. We will ask you to walk through a healthcare data or analytics initiative you led from the business side, how you defined success, how you worked through data ownership and access, and what you would change. Relevant project experience matters more to us than certifications.
Location
This is a fully remote position. This role is remote within the United States only. Candidates must reside in the United States while assigned to our client and be physically located within the United States when performing project work or accessing project systems or data. Availability to work overlapping Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones.
